Activity: WRITING A STORY

Write a story (100-120 words) based on the picture. DEADLINE: Wednesday July 8^th

STEP 1: Plan. Organize your ideas and make a plan. First of all decide what kind of story you are going to write: horror, romantic...

Use the plan in your workbook, page 35. Just a few words, it's a plan. I won't correct grammar mistakes in this step. I just want to see if your ideas are well-organized and ready for a story. Send it.

STEP 2: Writing the story.

• Use your plan to write the story.

• Choose a title for your story.

• Write it in the past.

• Include and underline:

*sentence connectors: at least 3.

*phrasal verbs: at least 2 (we have worked with GET, PUT, RUN and COME)

*at least one new word from each unit

* 1 comparison

* 1 idiom (page 21 in the workbook)

*adjectives ending in -ed or -ing (at least 2)

• Include your picture (if you can scan it) or any similar picture you can add to your story. Write a caption.

Send it.
